AHERA Asbestos Supervisor/Contractor Refresher
Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA)
This class is the annual refresher for persons who supervise asbestos abatement activities. Review of state/federal/local regulation changes, new state-of-the-art procedures, and review of key aspects including: medical monitoring, physical characteristics of asbestos, potential health effects, personal protective equipment, medical surveillance, respiratory protection, personal hygiene, recordkeeping for asbestos abatement activities, personnel exposure air monitoring, supervisory requirements and techniques, contract and specification considerations, notifications, project safety and health hazards, insurance/liability, and more.

AHERA Asbestos Worker Refresher
Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA)
This class is the annual refresher for persons who perform asbestos abatement activities. Review of state/federal/local regulation changes, new state-of-the-art procedures, and review of key aspects including: identification, health hazards, medical surveillance, personal protective equipment, respiratory protection, personal hygiene, recordkeeping, safety hazard assessment, insurance/liability, and more.

Air Hazardous Materials Transportation (IATA)
IATA DGR 1.5.2 Category 1 Personnel
Applicability and limitations of the regulations, hazard classes, definitions, packing groups, use of the List of Dangerous Goods Table, general and specific packaging instructions, marking and labeling, documentation and a written test.
Dates: 8 am-5 pm August 9-10, also available onsite
Cost: $500
This class includes General Awareness/Familiarization. The class covers function-specific detailed training for anyone who may prepare and offer any hazardous material in commerce by air transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material, hazard class 7.
Ground Hazardous Materials Transportation (DOT)

Format of the regulations, definitions, hazard classes, packing groups, Hazardous Materials Table (determining compliance) with the HMR, hazardous materials communications, packaging and a written test
Dates: 8 am-5 pm July 19-20, October 5-6, also available onsite
Cost: $500
Satisfies the following training requirements of 49 CFR172.704(a): General Awareness, Safety, Security Awareness and Function-Specific training for anyone who may prepare and offer or transport any hazardous material or hazardous waste in commerce by ground transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material, hazard class 7.

HAZWOPER
(Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response)
per 29 CFR 1910.120
40 Hr. For supervisors of hazmat teams and site workers, supervisors and spill response managers at uncontrolled waste sites, initial investigation sites, RCRA corrective action sites and other hazardous waste sites recognized by a government agency.

24 Hr. For hazmat technicians, hazmat spill response team members.

8 Hr. Refresher Refresher is required annually if you've taken a HAZWOPER course.

Hazardous Waste Management
per 40 CFR, Parts 260-279
EPA-based course that covers proper management of hazardous waste. Complies with RCRA training requirements for hazardous waste generators. Includes EPA and state regulations, identifying and handling hazardous materials, sampling and analysis, spill response, shipping, packaging, labeling and more.
Dates: 8 am-5 pm October 21-22, also available onsite

Water Dangerous Goods Regulations (IMDG)
Dates: 8am-5pm September 7-8, also available onsite

OSHA 10-Hour Occupational Health and Safety for General Industry
This class is for anyone in the general industry who desires or is required by employers or clients to learn more about OSHA safety regulations as a whole.
Dates: 8am-5pm (first day) and 8am-noon (second day) October 18-19, also available onsite

RCRA Refresher
per 40 CFR, Parts 260-279
Annual refresher to the Hazardous Waste Management class. Satisfies RCRA training requirements for hazardous waste generators. For persons with prior RCRA or hazardous waste management training
