Air Hazardous Materials Transportation (IATA)
IATA DGR 1.5.2 Category 1 Personnel
Applicability and limitations of the regulations, hazard classes, definitions, packing groups, use of the List of Dangerous Goods Table, general and specific packaging instructions, marking and labeling, documentation and a written test.

Cost: $450. $325 if you bring your own copy of IATA 2008 DGR Handbook
This class includes General Awareness/Familiarization. The class covers function-specific detailed training for anyone who may prepare and offer any hazardous material in commerce by air transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material, hazard class 7.
Basic Safety Orientation
Hazard communication (Hazcom), fire safety and fire extinguisher training, lockout/tagout, access to medical records, emergency plan and evacuation and personal protective equipment

Confined Space Entry for Supervisors
OSHA's requirements for confined spaces, hazard recognition and control, confined space assessment techniques, roles and responsibilities of the supervisor, understanding confined space hazards, confined space fall protection systems, permit-required confined spaces, control of hazardous energy and confined space monitoring.

Confined Space Entry for Entrants and Attendants
OSHA's requirements for confined spaces, confined space entry hazards, confined space assessment, roles and responsibilities of entrants and attendants and use of basic confined space monitoring equipment.

Ground Hazardous Materials Transportation (DOT)

Format of the regulations, definitions, hazard classes, packing groups, Hazardous Materials Table (determining compliance) with the HMR, hazardous materials communications, packaging and a written test

HAZWOPER
(Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response)
per 29 CFR 1910.120
40 Hr. For supervisors of hazmat teams and site workers, supervisors and spill response managers at uncontrolled waste sites, initial investigation sites, RCRA corrective action sites and other hazardous waste sites recognized by a government agency.

Hazardous Waste Management
per 40 CFR, Parts 260-279
EPA-based course that covers proper management of hazardous waste. Complies with RCRA training requirements for hazardous waste generators. Includes EPA and state regulations, identifying and handling hazardous materials, sampling and analysis, spill response, shipping, packaging, labeling and more.

RCRA Refresher

Annual refresher to the Hazardous Waste Management class. Satisfies RCRA training requirements for hazardous waste generators. For persons with prior RCRA or hazardous waste management training
