HAZWOPER
40 Hour

For supervisors of hazmat teams and site workers, supervisors and spill response managers at uncontrolled waste sites, initial investigation sites, RCRA corrective action sites and other hazardous waste sites recognized by a government agency.
24 Hour
April 11-13

For hazmat technicians and hazmat spill response team members.
8 Hour Refresher
April 8 and May 13

Lunch included.
A refresher is required annually to maintain your HAZWOPER certification.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRANSPORTATION CLASSES
Ground Hazardous Materials Transportation (DOT)
May 16-17
$500
Class includes format of the regulations, definitions, hazard classes, packing groups, Hazardous Materials Table (determining compliance) with the HMR, hazardous materials communications, packaging and a written test. For new and refresher students.
DOT Refresher
July 12
$300
This refresher is required every 3 years for 49 CFR 172.704 (a) and content covers Awareness, Safety, Security Awareness and Function-Specific Training. This course includes only limited discussion of radioactive material, hazard class 7.
Air Hazardous Materials Transportation (IATA)
May 18-19
$500
This class includes General Awareness/Familiarization, Security Awareness, and Function-Specific training for anyone who may prepare and offer any hazardous material in commerce by air transportation. This course only includes limited discussion of radioactive material. For new and refresher students.

ENVIRONMENTAL CLASSES
RCRA Hazardous Waste Management
June 21-22 (Note Date Change)
$450
Cost includes lunch on the second day.
EPA-based course that covers proper management of hazardous waste. Complies with RCRA training requirements for hazardous waste generators. Includes EPA and state regulations, identifying and handling hazardous materials, sampling and analysis, spill response, shipping, packaging, labeling and more.
RCRA Refresher
June 22 (Note Date Change)
$225
Lunch included.
Annual refresher to the Hazardous Waste Management class. Satisfies RCRA training requirements for hazardous waste generators. For persons with prior RCRA or hazardous waste management training.

All classes will be held in Wichita, Kansas. All payments for classes must be made on or before the day of the class. Checks are accepted, as well as VISA, MasterCard and American Express. All classes will be held at iSi’s training center and office in Wichita at 215 S. Laura. If requested, we will send you a map and directions with your confirmation. iSi also has special hotel rates with local hotels; ask for more information when you register. |
